Cilantro and Chive has made their mark on Central Alberta!
Originally opening in Ponoka in 2012, they found a new home in Lacombe in 2015 and opened their second location in Red Deer in 2021.
From the beginning, it has been important for them to showcase what our region has to offer. From craft beer, beverages and spirits to local producers and farmers.
Cilantro and Chive puts their own twist on comfort food and have fun doing so!
They believe the community has been essential to their growth, and have a willingness to get involved whenever and however they can.
Through their “Burger of the Month” program, they work with a local Guest Chef to prepare and create new burgers every month, with $2 from each burger sold going to a local charity or organization.
To date, they have been able to give back more than $80 000 to deserving organizations in our own backyard!
They also support local elementary schools through Ice Cream Sandwich Pop-Ups, with proceeds going back to support their most urgent funding needs.
Cilantro and Chive likes to have fun, and is passionate about creating a place where family and friends can come together to share a drink and a meal, and create a conversation.
They’re a place for the community to connect, engage, inspire and be fulfilled.
