The Innisfail and Area Family Day Home Society values that all communities are stronger together. In fact, that is their guiding principle to collaborate and work together for the benefit of young children. They know that when a network of people supports each other, amazing things happen. The Innisfail and Area Family Day Home Society has been recognized for all of the amazing work that they have done in maintaining quality childcare since 1983.
Like being recognized for their partnership with the Central Alberta Family Day Home Association with the Ministers Award for Merit for promoting health, development and well-being of children, youth and families. Being a proud sponsor of the development of the Dr. Greg Ritson-Bennett Park in Innisfail. Partnering with likeminded non-profit businesses to support the “Early Childhood Mapping project” an amazing government initiative that saw the development of a Family Centre for the Innisfail community, along with a variety of workshops and family events. Plus, they have provided scholarships to high school students entering post-secondary studies in an early childhood or elementary education program.
They are a Licensed Early Learning and Child Care Service organization that could not be more deserving of being recognized for “Amplifying” the community.
