The Jungle Farm’s mission is to create the best farm experience for everyone through exceptional food, education, and lasting family memories. They strive to inform and educate people of all ages and backgrounds about where their food comes from and engage them in the process. They will teach you how to stretch your food dollar, they connect with customers through their weekly newsletters, and more.
At the Jungle Farm, family means everything to them with fifth and sixth generations of their family currently working at the Jungle Farm. The high-spirited, ambitious, and friendly nature of owners Leona and Blaine Staples, allows their staff and guests to feel like part of the family. And when you’re family, like the Central Alberta community, you help when help is needed. At the Jungle Farm, they have been involved in many terrific organizations. Some of these include Scouting programs, 4-H, the Cooperative Youth Program, Innisfail Chamber, and many more local organizations. Plus, Leona shares her skills in baking, canning, and growing produce through regular features and videos, and holds specialized classes at three farmers’ markets as a member of the Innisfail Growers.
At the Jungle Farm, they strive to involve as many people as possible in the vital role of agriculture from seniors’ tours and corporate events to children’s programs and u-pick experiences. The Jungle Farm is another great example of a local business that “Amplifies” the community. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do. Follow the Jungle Farm on Facebook.
